I don’t post much, but thanks to all the good info on forums like this I now have an NFA Trust, and two form1 approved suppressors. One in 5.56 and one in .308

I, for one, would be interested in the technical/design details. They look good from here. CONGRATS!
Very nice.
Cones? Freeze plugs? Funnels? VSRs?
Length/weight?
Details, man…details.
I’ve been very pleased with the six I’ve made.
One is based off the maglite / freeze plug solvent trap design you see all over now. I did alter it a bit, putting stainless freeze plugs closer to the muzzle end and for the blast baffle.
The other is a true 1 3/8 ID tube, using engine valve retainers for baffles. This one a semi progressive stack, several very tight near the exit, then progressive ly less tight until a 2" blast chamber at the muzzle.

How are you liking that UBR on the 5.56? Do you get a good cheek weld?
I’m about to put together a Recce build, and have a spare UBR laying around that I was thinking about putting to use.
I do, it feels better than other carbine stocks, and its so heavy as the prs.

“Not so heavy as the PRS” I mean

Thanks, that was going to be my other choice, snagging a used PRS. I’ll stick with the UBR.
Enjoy shooting your rifles, they look quite nice.
Nice looking setups. How well do they perform?
I’ve been pretty pleased with them. With full house 55 grain 5.56 loads both suppressors (the 308 on a 5/8 to 1/2 thread adapter) made the AR quiet enough to forgoe hearing protection, at least with a short session I’ve put them through so far. The 5.56 bore suppressor was marginally quieter on the 5.56.
The 308 bore also made 168 gr SMK rounds (Full house loads) quiet enough I wasn’t uncomfortable without ears on. I have some 200+ grain bullets I’m going to mess with and see if I can’t load up a subsonic load though just for fun.
No baffle strikes, no issues. They line up perfect.

Also, the 308 can was the first one I made so I was a little nervous and overbored it pretty generous. The ID of the baffles was .371 I believe. Still very effective.
