OK so I bought my frist AR a week ago Sat. a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 with a Eotech 512
Today I put the first of what I expect to be many rounds through it.
It operated flawlessly and was a blast to shoot. I am definately addicted to my new found pastime. After my shoot today I have decided to K.I.S. and not add anything else to it except a light of some sort.
Anyone else out there have a S&W M&P 15? Do you like it?
I have MANY S&W but not the AR15 they make/CMT/STAG!

And a LMT Defender 2000 M4 14.5,SOPMOD,Aimpoint ML2
I bought my first AR15 back in 83/84 wich was a Colt that I wish I never sold!

A Red dot and a Light would be all I would add
A techmanual/Armor is nice also to have
and 1000rds of STASHED ammo since the price is going up each day
I have a good feeling that S&W will be doing thier own soon !
I have been very impressed with the turn around at Smith & Wesson. While I’ve only handled one of their AR’s, it was very impressive. I would certainly buy one without hesitation. Not to mention their impressive M&P & 1911 handguns. Not bad for a company nobody under seventy even thought about a few years ago.
Are you suggesting that S&W will be abandonning their relationship with CMT/Stag to begin manufacturing their own AR components?
