First Non 5.56 Build, 6.8SPC Goodness

I have always wanted a 6.8SPC, so I had one built. I will give this 6.8 a whirl during deer season to see if she can deliver. I will be using it for some non-comp bench shooting as well. I started this build with a blemished PSA lower I had in the safe and by the time I had finished the 6.8 I realized I was way under budget I have enough for a nice 300yard scope. …I think?

Here are the specifications;
Upper and Lower =PSA Cerakote OD Green (blems)
LPK =PSA Premium
BCG =PSA Premium w/Daniel Defense 6.8 bolt
Barrel =ARP 18" Melonite Mid-length
Handguard =Parallax Tactical Keymod Rail
Magazine =ASC 6.8
Buffer tube assembly =PSA Premium 7075 T6 Milspec tube
Sock =Magpul CTR
Grip =Magpul MOE+
Sights =MagPul MBUS
Muzzle Device =Ruger .308 Scout (Take-off donated by a friend)

There are a few parts I will be upgrading like the trigger assembly and muzzle device. I will be looking for a 300yard scope, perhaps a Leupold or Vortex. Any thoughts on glass is welcome.

I have been running 6.8s for 6 years or so, awesome deer and hog gun.
What’s your budget for the scope?

I think the Leupold VXR 2-7 is a damned good fit for it.
