Pretty excited about this one! It turned out nicer than I imagined.

Everything fit together like a glove and shes tight as a drum. The next is optics (after Christmas ). Here’s a snapshot of the AR next to my FN FAL paratrooper.

Finally had an opportunity to take this rifle out last Saturday. Ended up with a Trijicon TA31F for optics. I’d been lusting after an ACOG for a long time now and am NOT disappointed in the purchase. Also swapped out the fixed stock for a CMMG 5 position milspec unit.
Was shooting Radway Green SS109 milsurp. This ammo had no problem cycling the mid length. I had read somewhere where this was a concern. The rifle had no trouble.
