First Builds - Rainier Arms Billet and Spikes

I thought I would join the club and post my first builds.

I started out with an inexpensive Spikes lower for my first build, just to try it out. I tried to keep it a bit of a “budget” build with some left over parts removed from my Daniel Defense.

Lower:
-Spikes forged
-PSA LPK
-LMT receiver extension
-BCM Mod 1 grip

Parts off my DDM4 V7:
-Mil-spec trigger
-Safety selector
-H1 buffer
-Magpul MOE stock

Upper:
-BCM M4 forged
-AIM V2 black nitride BCG
-DD mil-spec charging handle

Potential Plans:
-300 BLK barrel
-Iron sights or a red dot

I know I should finish one and spend more money on ammo and time at the range, but I had a lot of fun building it, and I wanted 1 more, a dream rifle. I figured I’d go ahead and get the lower and then get back to my first build. So here it is…

Lower:
-Rainier Arms UltraMatch billet ambi lower
-White Oak Armament lower parts
-Geissele SD-E trigger
-Battle Arms Development 45 degree ambi safety selector
-Seekins bolt release
-Seekins mag release
-Vltor A5 6 position receiver extension
-A5H2 buffer
-B5 Bravo stock
-B5 QD endplate
-BCM Mod 3 grip

Upper:
-Rainer Arms UltraMatch billet upper
-Rainier Arms Raptor charging handle

Here it is altogether.

But instead of finishing the first, I just kept working on the Rainier.

I moved on to the upper and added these parts:
-Daniel Defense midlength lightweight 16" barrel
-VG6 Precision Gamma muzzle brake
-Umbrella Corporation BCG
-BCM 13" KMR Rail
-BCM low profile gas block
-Magpul MBUS Pro Iron Sights
-Aimpoint T2 Micro
-Larue LT751 mount
-Naroh Arms hand stop (not shown)

All finished:

Its nice and simple and built from good parts. I like it

Thanks. That’s just what I was going for, a quality AR for general use.

I have a suppressor on the way, so an SBR is next on the list.
