this is my first SBR build and was thinking of maybe adding a suppressor at some point.
i understand about paying the tax and registering the lower receiver for the short barrel but not sure about the suppressor.
does the suppressor itself need to registered or do i register the lower receiver for the suppressor just like the barrel?
The suppressor is a ‘firearm’ all by itself under the NFA, and you’ll have to register/tax it separately.
