First build, help please

This is my first build inspired by many really nice assemblies seen here.

  1. The 5C2 flash hider will not align the closed port with the ground. Do i need to space it out with another washer?
  2. The MI low pro gas block cab be seen and sticks out farther than the forearm/handgaurd. I want to use the end cap, so must i use a longer forearm unit?
  3. As a lefty, i’ve installed an ambi-selector, but was wondering about an ambidexterous charging handle and if lefties are down for them or are they snags waiting to happen.
    Perhaps i should reiterate my noob-status so if mention something really noobesque, please go easy on me, any and all input is appreciated.
