get out and shoot that beauty! looks good. any specific reason you chose the MUR upper over any old forged upper? jw, looks great, hopefully it shoots as good as it looks.
Looks good mikbau. One question though. The rear sight seems pretty far forward. Will it fold flat? The Troys usually need to be in the first slot, so that the windage dial and area of the sight will lay across the area behind the picatinny. Just wanted to point that out before you get her all dialed in.
As to why I chose the MUR upper…honestly I had just heard a lot of good things about them, and it definitely seems bomb proof (and I’d also like to say the folks at VLTOR were super helpful with my questions, so props to them for that)
As for the site…it does in fact lay flat in the slot it’s in on the rail…doesn’t seem to have any interference anywhere, but now that you mention it I’ll have to give it a second look.
