For what it’s worth, I couldn’t care less about the colors not matching. I’d rock it.
To me the rubber cover is worthless anyway. Just something for dust and moisture to be trapped under and do more damage than no cover plus it makes you ass look big!
None of my stuff matches on my weapons. Function over fashion wins the day.

Nice blaster, congrats on the purchase, who cares if everything matches you’ll soon want to paint everything anyway(whether that be ceracoat,duracoat, or krylon), go shoot the snot out of it and enjoy.
You will love the DD. I had a DDM4V1 as my first and I ended up with another one. My initial has almost 8K through it and still going strong, not a malfunction on her that was not purposely induced or user error. You are spoiled now.
Great first purchase and best of luck with it… Please do not worry about the color matching, the DD is beautiful but its not winning a fashion contest =) Go shoot it !
