I wouldn’t suggest that piece of garbage to anyone. I own one and it just sits in the workbench drawer. I finally ponied up $75 and bought the MagPul wrench and there is absolutely no comparison. Multitasker Series 3 has been a life saver in the field. Yeah its a $150 mult-tool but it has saved my billion dollar ass more than once. I also agree with the above, Magpul’s new wrench is pretty nice and the bottle opener is a nice touch. I would pay the extra for that alone. The other two tools I would recommend is the Hammerhead Tool ( look out for fakes) and the Geissele Reaction Rod, I am sure they have been covered though. Add a set of roll pins specific to the AR and a Magwell block ( I bought one from Midway it was fairly inexpensive and works just fine )

There are more than a few people who blame the tool when they don’t know how to use it. I use mine just fine. Besides, there are plenty of usable armorer wrenches out there for less than the (really) stupid prices that people are throwing out in this thread. Once again, some people look for problems, others look for solutions. You can find either, if you look hard enough.
That’s the problem with people who base their advice on perception and not experience, the conversation goes downhill pretty fast.

I agree. This tool is barely adequate. I’ve seen broken barrel nut teeth first hand. A DPMS Multi-Tool isn’t much more and has proper barrel nut engagement. The Magpul tool looks great but my current tool works fine so I’m sticking with it for the time being.

I don’t understand. There’s such a friendly atmosphere in here.
For my first build I went with a PSA upper, minus the BCG and charging handle. It has the CHF chrome lined barrel, made by FN. Got it for $280. I was able to build the whole lower from good quality parts at my local gun shop, about $180…It might take a while to part a rifle together but I learned so much about the gun and AR platform. Countless hours of research but it was definitely worth it!
