I decided to build my first AR rather than buy last fall because prices were still insanely high. It was a good decision because i knew nothing about them until i found this site. After all of my research and a year of saving money and buying my parts i ended up with this.

RRA stripped lower
Stag LPK (replaced grip with an ergogrip)
BCM 16" Middy
BCM BCG
BCM receiver extension
MOE stock
Cav arms C6 handguards
DD A1.5 fixed sights

I agree nice looking basic carbine. Sounds like you did your home work well. Did you save money or was it just easier to buy things piece by piece. I know that has helped me before.
