This is my first weapon ever with FDE furniture. Just waiting on a T1 to top it off. I bought it because my other ARs are SBRs and I needed something I could train with out of state. I was sick of the rails, the complexity, and everything else that went along with SBRs, suppressors, etc. I wanted something that was quick, light, yet didn’t sacrifice much. I think I accomplished what I was going for.
Today I took it to the range and zero’d the irons at 50 yards. It was brutally cold and windy. 47 degrees and sustained 15+ MPH winds. (I’m in South Florida - that’s really cold)
I love the new BCM comp. Absolutely no muzzle blast at all yet there is so little recoil and muzzle climb I felt like I could blast away mag after mag. Unfortunately due to ammo costs, I didn’t get to do that.

I had honestly forgotten how accurate and easy iron sights could be until today. Zeroing them was easy as cake and the gun was as accurate as a laser beam with them. It was so much fun shooting with irons that I might cancel my T1 order and just throw an LMT fixed rear sight on the weapon. My only gripe with irons is the lack of low light capability.

I think I shot the wrong target, but I didn’t care. I prefer brunettes.
