I’m trying to find a more visible front sight post for the ghost ring sight on my Benelli M2 Tactical. I’ve seen the HiViz but it’s really dim, even in bright light. Tritium like the Meprolights isn’t really what I’m looking for either.
Any other fiber optic front sight option available for the Benelli ghost ring sights?
I am using a fiber optic front sight for the M1/2 ghost ring setup from a company called Bettendorf custom firearms of Sandy, Or. It uses a .060 fiber and is quite bright. The bad news…they seem to have bit the big one, and the only other sight I could find is the dim HiViz you mentioned.
Looking at the HiViz, you might be able to drill the fiber holes out to .040 or maybe even .060 and then put the fiber straight across, doing away with the curved pipe. I’m thinking it might be brighter.
