Somewhat stumped regarding an ammunition unicorn. As this is the place where I’ve gotten most of my questions answered, thought I’d give it a shot…
T45XB1 & XM45XB1. Two Federal part numbers referenced in a few places online (forums, mostly) which seem to indicate a Barnes TAC-XP .45 offering in 185gr +P and 160gr respectively. A page does exist at ATK describing XPBs, but contains no part numbers or other info.
My question: Are these actually valid part numbers? If so, any solid ideas where could I acquire a box or two? I’ve had exactly zero luck finding an online retailer who lists the product. Never tested Corbon because it grinds me having to buy in 20-round increments and I’d much rather purchase Federal in 50-round boxes. Not to mention I’m hopeful the price is considerably less than Black Hills or ASYM so I’m not discouraged from practice.
If not correct, what are the appropriate part numbers so I can refine my search?
