Just finished up a build using a Tactical Solutions .22 dedicated upper along with a Spikes lower. I put a FDE Magpul MOE hand guards, an Ergo FDE grip and a Magpul CTR stock also in FDE.I’d like to paint the Black Dog Machine magazines the same color as the furniture , but the closest I’ve come across is Krylon Fusion for plastic #2438 Satin Khaki. Has anyone found a color paint that comes closer to the Flat Dark Earth in a rattle can? Thanks …Ed
Check out the camo paint options from Krylon and Rustoleum. Both of them offer a flat khaki or earth tan color that should fit the bill.
BTW, I’ve used the Krylon Fusion satin khaki on some FAL furniture with good results. It is satin and not flat, which isn’t ideal, but it’s a pretty good color, just slightly yellower than many FDE colors I see.
