Just our next step towards being a Banana Republic. I never liked Trump,( even though I voted for him the second time around), but this is a BAD idea. We will probably see a President refuse to step down in our lifetime. Prosecuting your political opponents is almost alway a bad idea, be it “lock her up” or “Trump is Hitler but worse.” This is bad.

I also find it interesting that they wait till now to do this. Obviously this taking place in Mar-a-Lago puts eyes on DeSantis as well. Depending on his response to all of this, it could very well take the steam out of his political sails. If he backs Trump, he is next on the list (I’m sure he is already) and his political career is on the line with likely Federal involvement. If he stands back and does nothing, it may (and likely will) turn a lot of his base against him. I could be wrong, but this seems more calculated then it appears at a glance.
