Got to shoot a converted G17 w/wire stock recently and found it to be reasonably controlable. The only thing I didnt like was the trigger safety (which is not a big deal in semi mode). Anyone else have any experience with stuff like this?
Never shot a full auto pistol but what are the legalities regarding a converted g17? Is it something you have to get a stamp for or dealer only? Just curious

I had the opportunity to shoot a dealer buddies original Mauser 712 a few years ago. The rate of fire was high but it was pretty easy to control (especially with the shoulder stock attached).
So, these select fire end plate Glock mods can only be used by dealers and not purchased with a stamp? If they could be purchased legally with a stamp can they be mounted on any of the legally owner’s Glocks?
Unless the end plate was made prior to '86 (which I doubt) then it’s a CLEO demo letter only kind of deal.
