Fat Gripz, never going to do arms again without them

I know many on here have motioned them, but I seriously don’t think they are getting enough exposure.

I have tried Thick bars in the past and could never get a decent pump due to their ergonomics (or lack their of) and the cost of Thick dumbbells are beyond the budget of many gyms.

But I have been using Fat Gripz for the last 12 days and these things are absolutely fantastic. They come across kind of gimmicky, but I have never had a pump in my arms like Fat Gripz have produce.

I would advise stepping down 10-20 lbs. for a couple of sessions just to get use to them.

For $39 they have so far been the best fitness related purchase I have made in the last 10 years.

Fat gripz are good stuff for sure.

Never heard of them but they seem interesting - I bet it would make the workout much more difficult. I’ll give them a shot, thanks.

I give a full write up on them HERE as and other grips covered on my site if interested.

+1. Been using them for 2 years now. My shoulders thank me all the time!!!

I reviewed FatGripz and Tyler Grips a few years ago. I use them still.

The T-Grips look very interesting. I do find myself having to wipe down the Fat Gripz every once in awhile due to slickness.

Good stuff. I use my Fat Gripz on almost any pulling exercise when I can. Big difference in forearm pump and strength.

I also use Globe Grips to change things up a bit from time to time. Another good one for the grip arsenal.

I like to do few sets of farmers walks with them on a hex bar. Can be done with simple dumbbells also.

Do you use then all of the time? Or do you rotate usage of fat gripz?

I tend to rotate them. I don’t have a specific schedule as to when I’ll add them, but I’d say anyone who needs a strong grip for sports or work, (MMA, LEO, PLs, etc) would benefit from regular use. More details at linked above articles/vids.
