Field Advisory Services and Training is owned and operated by a retired U.S. Army Special Forces Sergeant Major whose service included many years as an Assaulter, Sniper, and Combat Leader in the Army’s highest priority Special Mission Unit. He has been employing a variety of weapons in training and combat for over 25 years in Central and South America, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and most recently Iraq and Afghanistan. As a long time member of America’’s premier Hostage Rescue Unit he attended many training courses taught by top competitive shooters and trained and worked alongside some of today’s most sought after instructors. Members of this Unit are world renowned for being both excellent marksman and extremely safe, practical trainers. He has trained and advised hundreds of U.S. and foreign students around the world as a soldier and as a contractor for various government agencies and private companies.

Night Handgun:
Cost:$150
This course is for the Armed Professional or Citizen who wishes to train in Low-Light and No-light conditions with a handheld and/or weapon mounted flashlight. Participants will train on threat identification and gaining/maintaining standoff while employing a light and handgun. Participants will engage multiple targets while moving away from the threat and/or towards cover.
Time: Training begins at 6:00 pm and will end around 12:00 pm. Please arrive at the range between 5:30 and 5:50 so we can start on time.
Class Size: - Maximum 8 students
Who can attend: This course is open to all U.S. citizens aged 18 or older who can legally possess a firearm.
Course Content includes, but is not limited to:
-Safety / Gun Handling
-Mental and Physical Conditioning
-Handheld and Gun mounted lights
-Dynamic Drills
-Use of Cover
-Low-light and No-light Marksmanship Fundamentals
-Strong Hand Only Shooting
-Reloading and Malfunctions
-Single and Multiple Target Drills
What you will need for the course:
-Serviceable semi-auto pistol or double action revolver
-Three magazines minimum (5 is better, call before you buy) or two speedloaders
-400 rounds of factory loaded ammo
-Handheld and/or gun mounted light
-Headlamp (recommended)
-Extra batteries
-Ballistic Eye protection (clear and tinted)
-Hearing protection (recommend foamies and muffs)
-Belt Holster made for your pistol (no shoulder holsters, cross draw holsters, or “universal” holsters allowed)
-Concealment Holster (optional) – the one you carry in every day
-Pouch for carrying spare magazines or speedloaders
-Water, snacks, lunch, Sunscreen and Bugspray (recommended)
It is recommended that you wear long pants, long sleeve shirt, ball cap or hat, and appropriate footwear for walking.
