Yeah Yeah I know they look totally cool with short shorts and sunscreen, I dont really want to get in a huge debate over the pros vs cons but does anybody know some really good fanny pack concealed carry rigs? I am feeling very secure tonight and looking to invest in one, and I want like nylon dont really need a dressy leather one cause the only time I dress up is with a suit and I use a real holster with it. Plus Ive never seen a leather fanny pack that looks good. Thanks guys!
I’ve used a Eagle Ind one for years.
… and sewing a North Face label on the front does wonders for its appearance.

I tried and didn’t really like the Blackhawk 5-5-whatever back. It was too stiff and unnatural to wear.
I have a tan Eagle Ind. pack that I bought online from another member on one of the boards… it’s nice, has mag holders in the pistol compartment so you can keep other stuff in the front zipper pocket.
The idea of putting another brand’s logo on it is a great idea!
The original Tommy Gun bag. Half the price of the others, twice as tough.

fwiw … I’ve worn it into The North Face outlets and have had employees ask when TNF made fanny packs & did I know of a source.

Yup, Eagle Industries is the way to go. The Camelbak version is not bad either.
Eagle. I convinced Giff to get Eagle to do an order of khaki ones for him a few years ago. Still using mine and LOVE it.
The old BHI was nice-without that f’ed up backing they have on them now. I really don’t know why they think it’s better. I won one and even washed it 4 or 5 times, still didn’t help-sold it.
I have and recommend HawkepaK Micro Gun Pak. see Hawkepaks.com
It does not look like the typical gun fanny pack. And it has a very effective way of carrying and concealing a full size weapon. Very well constructed.
Although not a fanny pack, I probably use my Smart Carry (under pants pouch) more. Just have to be careful in the draw to grab the weapon instead of the gun. ![]()
Eagle all the way.
Thanks for the input guys! Have any of yall tried any of the maxpedition man purses?
My edc sits in a wilderness tactical safe packer.

This is my daily pack. My G26 or G19 is either in this bag or holstered at 11 o’clock (lefty here). I have enough space in this bag for anything I need to carry (cell phome, 2-way radio, check book, address book, leatherman, camera, memory sticks, Glock 19/26, etc.)
I have used this bag daily at work, camping, hiking and even mountainbiking. Its confortable to carry and tough as hell.
ETA: and this bag dont look gaysh as a fanny pack ![]()
You sure about that?
 ![]()
I could see it working great for handing out Global Warming pamphlets or Celebrate Diversity brochures! ![]()

Well the nice thing about living in austin is that I could wear a pink bra on the outside of my shirt (Yes I would post pictures but I dont look good in pink) and people wouldnt even notice. What they would notice is a pistol printing through the style clothing that I usually wear (college age). But no matter how hesitant I might be to wear a fanny pack or gasp a man-purse I would never stand put in the least with one in Austin. The only problem with this idea is that when discussing it with my lovely girlfriend she immeadiatly exclaimed “Thats a great Idea! Then I wont have to carry my purse everywhere, I can just give my stuff to you.” At which point I began to ponder the most daunting question to ever face mankind; If you carry an item owned by a woman inside of your man-purse does that automatically make it just a purse. Perhaps I will carry an extra biohazard bag to keep the coodies from transfering to my bag.
I would consider one if it didn’t scream, “I’m packing!!!”
