Im planning on selling my mark 4 cq/t but wanted to make sure its real before selling it. I got this scope in trade for some stuff a few months back and just dont have any use for it but I seem to remember reading somewhere about fake Leupolds but havent been able to find anything on if there were any fake cq/ts made, only on some regular rifle scopes. Just want to make dang sure its a genuine scope before posting it up for sale.

I don’t know, but here is some info from the Leupold website.
Call up Leupy & give them your serial # etc.
WALLA
All the ones Ive seen have a four digit SN, and some were higher than the one on mine so it stands to reason that SN is out there. So checking solely on serial number doesnt seem like a fool-proof way. Ill call em anyway, its just hard for me to find to call them while theyre open and figured yall might know.
If anything, go to eGay and look specifically FOR the fake ones. It’s usually one or two companies in Guangzhou making them, and they’re going to copy ONE serial number for all the ones they make (and it tends to be a preproduction or early SN one). If it’s the same one, then be concerned.
This looks legit to me and I’ve seen a China copy Leupold and it’s really bad, you can tell by hold it
