Fake Centurion C4 Diopter Sights?

Backstory: I bought these sights from the EE here. I’ve had them for close to a year now.

There are a few things about these that don’t quite look right to me based on Centurions pictures from their site. Centurion C4 Diopter Sights

First off is the silver round-head screws. The ones from Centurion are black, smaller, and the heads flatter.

Second is the triangular machining around the holes in the rear sight. All the machining is off to the left of the hole.

Third is the pictures from Centurion show round machining instead of the triangular machining around the holes.

Can anyone chime in on the authenticity of these? The rears are marked with the logo but I don’t put a lot of stock in that.

Could be, but I wouldn’t expect the machining issues with Centurion.

Do you mean the holes in the rear site drum? If so, I don’t centurion makes that part. I think they are actuall HK contract drums.

Did the previous owner grind in the triangles?

As far as I know they came like this. They appear to have the same finish as the rest of the drum so I think they were there from initial machining. I believe the triangle flats are machined before the holes to give a flat surface to drill into.

What is one of their usernames on here? I can’t remember. Is it C4IGrant?

there were fakes out there for sure but these also might be real. The rear drum assembly machining being off is on HK or a lic HK factory we never made these parts we just bought them sometimes surplus and refinished them. the screws look like the finish has worn off.

the dificulty in getting the rear drum assembly is what stopped us for making these for years we do have some in stock now.
