Factory Glock 3.5 connector input???

Gents,

A buddy of mine wants a 3.5 connector for his duty G22 (.40sw), as they are approved for carry for his team. My question is are the factory Glock 3.5 connectors sold by GlockMeister compatible for all Glock pistols? I believe they are a common part for all Glock pistols, but just want to make sure.

Also do the factory 3.5 connectors require any fitting?

The Glockmiester connector should work no problem, I have used glock, ghost, and, glockmeister connectors with no issue in the past. As far as fitting, no he will not require any fitting, BUT, a little work with a polishing wheel on a dremel, and a stone would dramatically improve the feel in addition to the connector.

I hone the contact surfaces of the sear and the trigger bar with a stone, and polish the safety plunger and contact area on the trigger bar that hits the plunger with a dremel polishing wheel. This will really smooth up the feel of the trigger pull.

You are right…They are compatible with all models and do not require any fitting.

Except the Ghost “rocket” connector it requires some fitting.

I think I would stick with a Glock factory 3.5 connector, especially in a duty gun. Just a thought…

Big +1, unless the Dept policy allows it. But yes, OEM Glock 3.5 (they’re now referred to by Glock as a 4.5 lbs but they are still the same 3.5 as they’ve always been) are GTG. I run a 3.5 with the NY1 spring in mine and it makes for a smooth, non-stacking trigger pull with a stronger reset. You might look into that as well.

Polishing the firing pin safety plunger can easily cut through the plating and lead to issues.
I wouldn’t recommend it.

BIG +1, Just tell him not to clean it for a 1000 rounds or so.
