i was going to sell it, but long story short it’s staying. so i decided to redo some things on the gun and see if i like it better. so i changed the scope and scope mount, put the standard grip back on, and changed the A2 stock for an LMT collapsible stock. if any of you guys read my last thread i changed the charging handle to a bcm gunfighter with a huge latch and the saftey is an ambi star style.
i’m off to the range in awhile to sight it back in and shoot some groups. this isn’t a defense weapon or anything like that, it’s strictly for zapping squirrels and coyotes.

How do you like the new stock? My LBC varminter still has the A2 stock but I have been thinking about changing it.
i freaking LOVE it! the ergonomics are way better to me now, and this scope is way better than the crappy redfield i had on it. i’m not gonna embarrass myself with pictures of my groups, but honestly, when i was breathing right and squeezing, the bullet holes were either touching or in the same one.
i am no super shot, but this rifle has finally made it to what i was expecting it to be. sighted in for fiocchi 40 grain (vmax tips) i’m ready to stretch this puppy out. i sighted it in about 1 1/2" high at 100 so i figure that’ll put me back on at 200 and a couple inches low at 300.
more to follow, but for now i am really happy.
