Eye Pro

Looking for new eye pro clear or light shading that fit well with a hat and ear pro. I have been using Oakley’s (with cut arms) or Rudy Project, but the rubber opens up the ear pro or I have to cant shades.

Any suggestions?

The best pair I have found to wear with a hat and ears have been the Oakley 3.0 M Frames. The design of the frame is much slimmer than anything I have found yet.

Smith Aegis Echo for the win.

I’ve been using ESS Crossbows with Suppressor frame for a little over a year now. The arms are really low profile so as not to interfere with the seal on muff-style ear pro. I have to use the strap, though, or they will slide down my nose. I’m very pleased with them so far.

I upgraded to the Smith Aegis Echo from the ESS Crossbows w/ Suppressors. The ESS seem like a cheap toy in comparison. Best eye pro available as far as I’m concerned.

I run the Oakley M Frames. Have for some time now. I was hunting for a new pair just the other day, but I have not been able to find them with the lenses I desire locally.

The one I’ve been using are from Rudy Project and specifically the Magster.

Hope you find what you’re looking for!

Thanks all–great suggestions. --delete–

Edit: Those Magsters look like they would fit the bill.

They have an awesome military discount through Promotive, for those that qualify.

No. But I am sitting at a computer. Sorting out the Magsters and Aegis Echo pretty poorly. I almost hit the buy button on the Magsters. I am sure with Rudy Project they give discounts if you know an “sponsered athlete.” Again I am getting the paralysis of analysis–hence the post.

You know that Rudy Project is on M4C right? Here. . .

Thanks! I did see the button ad up top, but I did not know of the forum.

I just read in that forum you have a pair of the Magsters in the red photochromic. Questions: 1. Does the red wash out red dot? 2. In low light do you find the photochromic gets light enough to keep on without pulling them off or tilting?

To my eyes:

Question 1: The red dot does not wash out

Question 2: In low light conditions I am still able to see quite clearly. In fact even when driving home with the sundown (not that I would advocate it) sometimes I’ll forget I am wearing these specific Rudy Projects

Again, that is how my eyes see through them.

Smith optics here

the most comfortable I have ever used
easy and positive to change the lens’s

Oakleys

Oakley Radars here with both clear and smoke lenses. Fit very well under hats and ears.

Lots of great recommendations. I’ve used Oakley M Frame, Half Jacket and Radar. They’re all good if they fit your face. In the past year I’ve switched to Rudy’s Magster. They fit me much better than the Oaks. Rudy’s adjustable nose piece is the trick. The Magster is also very light.

Btw, their discount code is BLACKWATER.

My back up glasses is by Tifosi.

Same here!

So I went searching for this info as I am in the market for addition eye pro

What happened/where’d they go?
