Extractor Spring Too Strong?

I have a 16" carbine with carbine gas system and I just installed a Tactical Springs Extractor spring with new black buffer and Crane O-Ring…it’s a pretty stout combination so I started wondering if it was possible for it to actually be too strong. If so what symptoms would one see? I remember seeing an ejection path chart but do not remember if one of the variables listed was too strong extractor spring. Weak spring symptoms were kind of “no brainers” to me but I was not sure about the other.

Yes, it is possible to have excessive extractor tension issues. This is more often seen when new XP extractor components are used in conjunction with a fatigued ejector spring. Is this case, the fired brass can fail to clear the ejection port and gets trapped by the BCG as is tries to cycle.

The ejection path is still between 3:00 and 4:30 and about 6 feet away so it is GTG but I just thought it was pretty strong!
