I’ve got a 10.5" upper with a set of B5 keymod handguards on it, and a short section of keymod rail to which I’ve mounted an Inforce WML. My problem is that on the short carbine handguards there’s not much room for my hands once the WML is mounted. What I need is a section of keymod rail I can attach to the handguards that extends beyond the end of the handguards. Then I can mount the WML further forward and give my hand more room. But I haven’t found anything like this. All keymod rail sections seem to have 2 or 3 keymod nubs evenly spaced that won’t allow for extended mounting. Does any company make what I need?
I would buy one as well
Does your upper have an FSB? If so, you could use a Mossie Midnight mount which attaches to front of the FSB

Another option is to get a longer rail section and mount it so it hangs off ahead of your handuards
try searching for “cantilever keymod”. i have no idea if anyone makes one though.
The IWC/HSP Inforce mount offers a cantilever opportunity.
I’m able to get the light close to 2" past the end of my 10" KMR.
I’ve been looking for something similar, with no luck. Lately, I’ve been toying with the idea of overhanging a long keymod rail on two of the 1:30 slots, with an Inforce WMLx attached. This way, when I go thumb over bore with my left hand, it will contact the on/off pad rather easily.
Sekins sells a 13 slot section with 3 keymod lugs. You could use only 2 of them. http://www.seekinsprecision.com/key-mod-rail.html
Yeah, but you still have to add a pic rail first.
Also, due to the almost diamond shape of the B5 handguard, that mount may put the light into the FSB.
Something close to this, except a keymod interface instead of a picatinny interface, and no angle in the mount because the B5 handguard’s keymod holes are already at an angle.
