Any malfunctions at all?
Not a single one. Without looking it up, I don’t believe I fired a single non 200g LSWC the entire time.
Is there a particular reason you picked 200g LSWC? There seems to be a trend here that I do not understand?

200g LSWCs over 4.7g of Bullseye is the classic 1911 45ACP load for accuracy and feeding.
My apologies. Perhaps I should say pattern. The thread by Ned Christiansen also featured a pistol that had seen vast amounts of this bullet. Sometime back a few years ago, I recall Bill Wilson of Wilson Combat mentioning his preference for this bullet. I’ve always liked reading your threads, and since you are the third time I recall hearing about this as a favorite round, I wondered if there is a reason why. Thanks for the explanation.

Nice pictures. I really like the way the edge is broken around the ejection port on that gun. Also the trigger gurad undercutting looks really well doone. Is that how WC is doing most of thier undercuts these days or is that something you specced?
That is a nice looking 1911. Im surprised to see how well the bluing has held up with the use of the kydex holster.

When it hits 10 gallons, it’s off to WC for their in-house blue (which is utterly gorgeous), a mag chute, and trit sights (I grew out of my gold phase…).
I might pack a file or two so they can point up those little diamonds
