Evolution vs VRS-T rail

Am looking to pick up one of these two rails for my SBR build. I am planning on going with a 10"-11.5" barrel. I’ve done a bit of research on the two and both rail systems are getting positive feedback.

I’ve also been considering the new BCM keymod rail but cannot figure out when it’s supposed to be released.

So which do y’all suggest?

The VRS-T is heavy…I wouldn’t use it for an SBR.

Have a Samson 11" on my carbine and like it.

Light and sturdy with a diameter that fits my hand well.

Install is easy and uses factory barrel nut.

I have the Rainier version of the evolution and it’s been great, very solid lockup to barrel nut/bushing deal they got going on there and comfortable but does get warm after extended range sessions. I like them.

I like the Samsung
This is my 300 pistol build that will be SBRd
10"Samsung with 11.3 Wilson Combat barrel

Damn…Samsung is starting to make AR parts…:jester:

I’d just wait on the Bravo KMR 10". Bravo has the 11.5" with 10" KMR instock for $714.

It’s got blue tooth.

I’ve heard the same thing, Diamondhead rails are heavy as poop. No way I’d pick that when there are options that weigh half as much.

Funny guys

I like the VRS-T, but did find it heavy. Also, depending on what length they say it is, add about 2" and that’s the real length. For that, Diamondhead -1.

On the plus side–it’s compatible with Magpul rail pieces, except instead of standard Magpul 10/24 screws, you need 10/32 screws. For that, Diamondhead +1.

As for Samson’s Evolutions, I find it good, easy to configure, lots of options. It’s slightly thicker than a Troy Alpha, but not as thick as some other round tubes. Both are good options, preference really.

And WiFi

It also feature GPS and facial recognition with pre loaded profiles of the top ten terrorists. There is an optional satelite comm module for the spec op community
