I’m doubtful there has ever been a time when it was otherwise. I kind of feel like society is making steps in the right direction towards equal justice for the rich and powerful. Small, incremental steps to be sure, Honestly though, you don’t have to look all that far back to find a time when things like this would never see the light of day.
