I’m looking to reshape and contour a magpul component but will likely need to fill some gaps in the process… The plan of course would be to paint the component (MOE pistol grip) when done.
Are there any products on the market that would serve as a suitable filler for gaps or building up a surface?

Devcon DA290 Black Plastic Weld. Many guys use this for Glock grip modifications. Should work on Magpul too.
Regular old Bondo sticks permanently to an amazing variety of things…especially if there is some mechanical texture/ relief.

Never heard of that Devcon stuff, that looks like the ideal.
Devcon is great.
Is this hard enough to use for bedding on bolt action rifles?
Seconding the DA290, just don’t get that crap on your skin.
I don’t think that particular Devcon is, however this is the stuff I use for bedding
