There are ‘EOTekz’ that are made in China… but those are not the real deal, just airsoft toy attachments.
Call Eotech CS and ask where in China they are located.

Yesterday I was shopping for a 553 and when I asked if the shop I was at carried them the owner told me he doesn’t stock them anymore because, among other things such as their warranty and CS, they are made in China now. This struck me as a bit odd as I am aware of defense contracting regulations for materials of products that are manufactured are to be domestically sourced if possible first (dfars). I would assume that a similar regulation would apply to end products as well except in certain cases with allies (aimpoint, bae etc). He said that they are made in the same factory as the sightmark red dots and then proceeded to push those. Anyone else ever heard this?
There’s a thread around here regarding stupid stuff overheard at gunshops - DEFINITELY add this to that list, and if you’re bored with some time on your hand, read a few pages of it. Your head will HURT with laughter.
He probably doesn’t know how to search the internet. If he did he would know that his BS could be disproven in the parking lot from your smartphone.
