I keep hearing rumors about an Eotech G45 5X magnifier… Can you confirm or deny the existence of such?
If this magnifier truly exists will it work with a EXPS3-0 and when will it come to market?

Eotech confirms (on their Facebook site) that the G45 will be coming out in the near future and it will be available in black as well as FDE.

You would have to go to their [b]Facebook site[/b] and it’s one of the first shared articles towards the top of their page titled “Empty-Cases - Scout Scopes”, then read the remarks.
Ohh ok. I glanced over that but didn’t see the reference until just now. Interesting that they’re working on another optic as well.

I have tried establishing contact with Eotech through their Facebook page to no avail.
I will continue to seek other avenues of communication to better establish a timeline for this particular product.
I stopped by their booth and talked a couple of the guys. They could not provide any specs or details at all, but did say that it won’t be out anytime soon. They also confirmed that the mention of it in that guy’s article should not have happened as they were not ready to announce its existence yet.
What a shame, that makes two companies that have let me down at Shot Show 2015.
I guess my 2015 wish list will have to wait till 2016.

Thanks for the update. I had just bought another G33 & was feeling some buyers remorse if the G45 was right around the corner.
I wonder why some vendors already have them listed for sale (but OOS) if it wasn’t to be released for awhile yet.
No clue man, they were very standoffish when I asked about it. I can’t imagine they wouldn’t announce it at SHOT if it was coming anytime soon though. I’ll bug them again at NRA if there’s no announcement by then.
This [b]vendor[/b] already has a shell made up for it so that all they have to do is plug in the amount of units available when the time comes.
That sucks. If I had known that I probably would’ve bought the used G33 on here that went for like $350. But thanks for the update.
