Can anyone tell me if the above combo will fit on top of an LMT upper without mounting anything on the handguard. Anyone got any pics?

Well my set up is a bit different, it should be close. I don’t think you would be able to fit it all on just the upper.
My set up, EOTech 553, magnifier on LaRue QD pivot mount, YHM BUIS. I have the BUIS and Magnifire mount as far back as possible. The EOTech is as far back as it can be, but I did have to move it up one rail so I could have room to activeate the 553. The 552 is also longer than my 553.
Thanks Rojas, I’ll have to rethink that setup I guess as I don’t have a free float rails system,and I don’t want to lose the BUIS.
Rojas, is that an Aimpoint magnifier? If so why the Aimpoint and not the Eotech FTS.
If you compare the Aimpoint 3x to the Eotech 3x, you will see much better clarity and light transmission from the Aimpoint. The Eotech magnifier is not good glass.
Oddly enough, their 4X magnifier is on par with Aimpoint’s 3x.
can you get a flip to side mount for the Aimpoint?
any suggestions to get the setup I listed in my original post,but with Aimpoint gear instead? I started this out with a 552 only because I’ve got one sitting on another carbine already and was just going to pull off when my new LMT came in.
