Why does the 3x magnifier cost 500 bucks?
Does it do something a fixed 3 power scope doesnt?
Seems a little expensive as in as much as the eotech sight
no ideas?
Primary Arms has cheaper magnifiers with mounts.
what is better on the eotech
No clue. Never seen one of those Chinese imports to compare.
I’m wondering the same thing. Tempted to get a 3x magnifier, but not sure which one for my EXPS3-0. I’d feel better about buying one from Primary Arms if I could at least SPEAK to someone there. Only email comms, it seems…

Do a search for the Vortex VMX3. It’s the best 3x mag other than the Aimpoint or EOTech. For $130 none the less. Don’t go with primary or sightmark garbage.
Fabulous. I just ordered the Vortex and the raised Eotech mount from Primary Arms.
I used to sell high end cameras and binoculars. For what Aimpoint and Eotech are both charging someone should go to jail. There is no justification for a 3x magnifier with no reticle or any other function to cost $500. I put a Votrtex 3x behing my Aimpoint and it works like it should. The glass is clear, the light transmission is good, and it fits in whatever mount you would use for the Aimpoint magnifier.
Agreed. The VMX3 is fantastic, and is mounted on my SR-15 now.
