Has anybody read the “Enemies Foreign and Domestic” series by Matthew Bracken? Ive been spending alot of time on ship lately, most of which is in a rack in the berthing, which means Im either watching movies or reading my Kindle. I downloaded this series from Amazon after hearing they were like Rawles’ Patriots, just not written like a 6 year old and full of plot holes. The cover had me worried as they looked like racist right wing propaganda, but the books have turned out to be nothing of the sort.
Im about half way through the first and Im really enjoying the plot (turn a blind eye to the authors inability to form exposition). He’s not the best writer, but the current events of today (project gunrunner, Patriot Act, strict gun control, etc) all coincide with the plot in an eerie way. If you cant stand the idea of loosing any more freedoms, I highly recommend you check this series out.
(My current reading last has made me paranoid apparently: 1984, Enemies Foreign and Domestic, Animal Farm, Patriots, Brave New World, etc. Ive gotta be on some watch list by now haha)
Google Federal fushion efforts. It’s only a matter of time before our likes our routed and sent off to “re-eduation” camps. Your reading habits mirror mine and titles like those are mentioned in .gov terrorists handouts.
If La Raza and Aztlan makes you go ‘hmmmm’ . . . wait till you get to the 2nd book in the series. Then read the 3rd book, for Blue Helmet on ouor land paranoia.
If you want to get into full-blown paranoia mode, read “Full Black” from Brad Thor. It will make the hair on the back of your neck stand on end!!!
After a dose of the above, you will be searching for the tin-foil!!!
So the recommended reading that has been thrown out so far is:
Full Black by Brad Thor The Overton Window by Glenn Beck Unintended Consequences by John Ross (I hear there is a free PDF out there…let me see if I can find it)
WHAT!? I gave away a copy to a friend as a gift and repurchased it a few years ago for far less. Wow, I just looked and found the copies range from 82 to 249.50, crazy
That was an excellent series- I read all 3 over vacation.
I think the writing improves a bit after the first book. Either that, or by that point I had the tinfoil jammed over my ears so tightly it didn’t matter.
Either way, the way the events protrayed are such that you can just see them all happening today far to easily.
I could say something else, but as it may be construed the wrong way… probably not recommended sharing material for folks not on the same page here.
Just be aware that Full Black is part of a series of books by Thor, and if you haven’t read the previous novels, the story line may not make 100% sense. :big_boss:
Are these 12 all of them? What order do they go in?
They mentioned the first few in order on the page there (The Lions of Lucerne, Path of the Assassin, State of the Union, and Blowback), but after that?
