Enclosed MOS direct mount red dot

Osight is coming out with a red dot enclosed competitor to the Holosun SCS green dot.

Sounds cool, curious how it will hold up to Sage Dynamics testing.

I saw this over on Glocktalk. Interesting idea. The Osight C dots I run have been great.

I’m still waiting on the Holo 507 Pro Max though. I can’t wait to run that monster.

Saw that in P-F yesterday. Seems great. ONLY way to run an optic on MOS. Hate the idea of stacking on plates. THIS is the way.

I hate plates, but I have to use them on MOS because my sight of choice isn’t made in direct mount.

I’ve since wised up an started buying Glocks in Non-MOS and sending them out for slide cut.

Roger at Forward Controls does make a great plate for MOS, and I’ve had great luck with it on several guns.

Absolutely, FCF makes great stuff. Got one of their 2 stage triggers in my primary AR, has helped me get out to 500 yards with it.

And yeah, I’ll never own an MOS slide, because of the plate bullshit.

The fact that it is an unnecessary height increase alone is enough for me to hate it.

The BUIS on my Brownells slide are nice and low, it’s perfection.

I loved the Holo SCS MOS sight completely except that the window was too small for me. I had to learn the hard way what worked.

Like I said, my best deals were buying Non MOS G35s/G22 with slide finish wear for cheap, then having them milled and re-nitrided.
