For those of you who have worked in different theaters and or experience with military optics, have you used the Elcan 1/3/9? Friend of mine with several deployments won’t use anything else. Experiences? My use would be for an LMT MWS and the 7.62 reticle.
I have shot my Buddies Scar17 with 13.5 barrel out to 1,000 plus yards with 4X Elcan. I was shocked how good the glass was on the little guy. Impressive.
I think there are better options for that money. My goto for an MWS is NF ATACR 4-16X44, for similar money YMMV.

After the Elcan was highly recommended it really peaked my interest, but I still haven’t decided what to do with the MWS. Large frames can be more trouble than they’re worth at times…
That large frame is awesome. Just feed it.
