BlackHawk! Warrior Wear Gen III Level 5 ECWCS Jacket
Any reviews on this??
Looks like Blackhawk’s version of the PCU.
I have the whole Patagonia system (MARS) and the level 5 (Dimension jacket) is a very good piece of kit.
I even found it for $100 less than the Blackhawk version.

Seam for seam, zipper for zipper, I’d take Patagonia over Blackhawk any day of the week.
BLUF: It’s GTG.
I wore it last winter in Afghanistan. It’s lighter and more flexible/comfortable than the USGI GorTex. I also like that I could wear my velcro names tapes, patches, and rank while at Bagram, but then could easily sanitize before going out on a mission.
Only downside I saw was that it did not have GLINT tape (1" squares), but not a big deal…just do it like we used to do before the new uniform. It is very pricy, but worth the extra cost.
