I don’t have enough posts to reply to threads in “general discussion” but wanted to get this link out.
It should be posted at the top of every page of every gun forum and site in America right now!!

click on “elected officials”, put in your zip, and then go to “contact” tab on each person’s site, put “VOTE “NO” ON GUN CONTROL/WEAPONS BAN” in the subject line and then write your letter. Here’s a copy of mine:

I am a federal police officer and an educated citizen. I have taken the time to review the facts on gun control and they only support one conclusion. Gun control does nothing to stop crime, especially bans on so-called “assault weapons”.
History has proven that all you will be doing is punishing your law-abiding voters.
The facts around the world DO NOT SUPPORT GUN CONTROL!!

The weapons in previous gun bans, “assault weapons”, are used in less than 2% of violent gun crime. TWO PERCENT!! How can you even make an argument for banning them?
Please educate yourself or others who think gun control is the answer by reading this:
It is filled with facts that make it difficult, if not impossible, to still stand behind assault weapon bans in America.
