HH6 was nice enough to get this for me for Christmas. I had read that this particular bag was designed for Blackhawk crews. Since my Blackhawk is currently down for its maintenance cycle, I’m using this in my truck.
My idea, which seems to be working, was to sling this back over the rear of the front passenger seat where it is out of the way in previously unused space, yet is readily accessible from the driver’s seat. Like many with an SUV, space is not an issue but reaching WAAAYYYY back to get something usually requires you to get out, which is not always something you may want to or can do. The pics of the interior did not come out for some reason, so I’ll have to take more but the pack fits perfectly. The carry handle is held up by the headrest supports and the waistbelt loops around the bottom of the seatback. The carry straps are tucked away. My wife sat in the seat and didn’t even notice it.
I’m usually alone in my truck, so I keep the passenger seat slightly more forward which gives me easy access to the contents. If I want to, I can leave the side facing me unzipped and keep my 1911 right there to grab easily instead of leaving it in my holster. I’ve learned the hard way many years ago not to leave it on the seat as it will absolutely fall to the least accessible spot in your car at the worst possible time.
I wanted black to blend with the interior of my truck. Also, with my daughter’s car seat back there, if you looked inside by pressing your face on the glass, it just looks like a bag for her stuff. With the window tint, the bag is almost invisible from the outside when you just walk by.

I carry another bag with some water, snacks, blanket and other sundries. Since I live deep in the heart of the suburbs I am not exactly far from food, water, gas. BUT, just to show you what life can bring, our first blizzard of the year trapped cars on I-84 in downtown Hartford for up to 8 hours. Imagine being in sight of a hundred restaurants and people were going to the bathroom in their cars, had no food or water and missed their daily medicine. People idled all of their gas away and had no heat. You don’t have to be in the sticks to be shit out of luck.
Opening the bag, you can see the various size mesh pockets with zippers.

I have one Eagle molle med kit with snivel fillings like Motrin, bandaids, chapstick, etc. The CSM kit is a fully loaded BOK.

The other mesh pockets have extra mags, knife and flashlight

The HK 26.5mm flare gun with one star, four star and parachute flairs (1500 ft!) I suppose you could also jam a 26.5mm muzzle into someone’s mug if need arises.

Victorinox survival kit with every option on the knife except a martini shaker. SF 123 spare battery holder.

The 1911 with the new SF x300. Great weapon light.

I like the set up a whole bunch. The bag is extremely well constructed as is typical of Eagle. Not inexpensive but great kit.
