eagle ciras maritime armor carrier

anybody running one ? I have recently decided to replace the paraclete rabv I have been running for several years with a carrier that doesn’t have the zipper in the front… I like the idea of the Eagle mar ciras , anybody mess with one yet? let me know… thanks

seriously??? nobody is running one??

Here’s what I found in this < thread > at Post #21 by Ben Lenett.

I have been running one for 4 years with no issues (including a trip to the sand box). It is the only armor that I trust. PM me if you have specific questions.

It’s a very good all in one system. It feels very comfortable and more stable with hard and soft armor. My loadout also isn’t a lot and only consists of 5 rifle mags, 3 pistol mags, blowout kit, and tourniquet. I would not suggest getting one if you don’t plan on using armor with it. Ciras without armor is pointless.

Here is what my setup looks like now. It offers very good support and confort. Well as much comfort as armor can be.

The mar ciras is a great Carrier I’ve been running it for about 2 months now. I replaced an eagle PC with it and love having my soft armor, plates, mags and crap on one platform that’s easy to adjust and more importantly quickly put on and take off. So +1 on the ciras, however you may want to take a look at the BAE ECLIPSE RBAV witch is replacing the CIRAS in SOCOM, it is made with 500D condor instead of 1000D with the ciras (Significant weight reduction). ATS gear has them for sale.

What about the new version of the Paraclete RAV with the flap over the middle instead of the zip?

Some of us run the CIRAS here at the facility, including me. I have had the same one for about 5 years now with 0 issues. I can tell you that I have seen a lot of them here and elsewhere in harsh conditions and abused. They seem to do very well. I have used other packages as well, but the CIRAS seems to fit me the best.
