Three-Day Carbine Operators Course – Open Enrollment (LE/Mil/Vetted Civilians)

EAG Tactical (Pat Rogers and crew) will conduct a three-day Carbine Operators Course on October 29-31, 2010 at the Garland, TX PD Firearms Training Facility located in Nevada, Collin County, TX. This course is about fighting with the 5.56x45mm carbine and the training is geared toward that specific skill set. This is not a shooting course- it is a fighting course.
24 hours of TCLEOSE training credit will be available for Texas LEOs

$575 with a $285 deposit; further discount if taken with the two-day Pistol 2 course scheduled for 10/27-28/2010
Payment in full is requested 30 days prior to the class (September 30, 2010), unless prior arrangements have been made. USG, DoD, other organizations can continue to pay via credit card or purchase order. Contact us if you have questions.

What to Expect:
A three-day class on how to fight with the carbine. This is not shooting polka dots, but is a condensed version of what we are using today. The class is moderately physical.
Attendees must be active police officers; Active Duty Military; or possess a valid pistol license from any state. A Certificate of Good Conduct (no criminal record) or equivalent from your local Law Enforcement Agency will suffice.
Live fire exercises are inherently dangerous. Safety violations will be dealt with harshly. We cannot afford to have an unsafe shooter in a class.
EAG Tactical reserves the right to refuse admission to the class for any reason. EAG Tactical Staff reserves the right to remove anyone from the class for any reason. Questions??
What to Bring:
· A good attitude!
· A serviceable 5.56 or 5.45 carbine
· What you bring is not as important as the fact that your carbine works. Having a spare extractor/spring is not a bad idea
· Lubrication – the choice is not important, but bring lube
· 1300 rounds of serviceable carbine ammunition; 250 rounds of pistol ammunition
· The amount of ammunition recommended is an average. Actual number of rounds fired can vary based on skill level of the class, weather and range issues
· A minimum of five serviceable magazines for the carbine. More magazines are obviously better to minimize mag jamming time
· The carbine needs a sling – a tactical sling is better, but any sling can work
· A means to carry at least three magazines on your person
· Spare batteries for red dot sights
· A serviceable pistol, with at least three magazines
· Holster and magazine pouch
· Eye and ear protection – electronic ear protection is highly recommended
· Baseball hat
· Water – CamelBak style hydration system recommended
· Food – snacks, energy food and sack lunch recommended as the range is not near many restaurants
· Knee and elbow pads required due to range surface material
· Note taking materials
· Snivel gear – bandaids, pain reliever, etc.
