Afternoon,
Curious to see if anybody will chime in on this thread…Not getting a whole lot of help on my earlier one.
I purchased the Infidel 13.7 with the intention of putting a 1-4 / 1-6 optic on it and being able to take long range shots…Plan on stretching the field with heavy bullets and perhaps developing a few hand loads for it…Try to get as much energy into the round as I can while keeping with the SBR theme. This upper will be swapped back and forth from my 10.5 MRP.
That being said, I’ve read all over that 14.5 is the shortest one would want to go with a middie as anything less and one could experience reliability issues as the bullet will be gone before adequate pressure is built.
I find this making plenty of sense, with Noveske being the exception. He wouldn’t have produced such a barrel should there such issues would he???
Help me out now before I build this thing up and get a lemon.
Thanks to all…
