DTM review is up

I had a chance to do some testing on DTM ammo. Seems like they will be a viable alternative to the other brands if you are looking for match grade stuff. Still have to get it out at distance for some testing but the up close results show a bit of promise.

$240 for a 200-round case of .308 match ammo is not bad at all.

Like you mentioned, I like how they make the lot numbers easy to track on the boxes. It makes keeping my logbook that much easier.

Thanks for the review, I’m going to try and work a case into next month’s budget.

I like the information on the box as well, gives people a start with data. BH’s has never chrono’ed in anything I’ve seen at 2600 as advertised. Their brass can be spotty, I’ve seen crimped and non crimped in the same box, several times. I have been buying(other than reloading) FGMM and like it better. I would say that if DTM can keep it priced at the FGMM levels or less, they would have a great seller.

Well the Black Hills misfire certainly didn’t inspire confidence. The DTM ES numbers were always blown by one shot in 20 that was out of whack.

FGMM at $30 per box.

DTM at $24 per box.

That’s a substantial savings for someone that shoots a lot.

I’m glad I got my FGMM at PSA when it was 20 a box!

I’m still sitting on 1600 rounds of FGMM I paid $0.55 for!
