Just ordered a few DSA 20 round mags FAL from Midway USA, have not had a chance to try them out yet. I hear a lot about the problems with DSA FAL mags and was wondering if there have been any improvements? I just ordered some spare surplus followers and springs just in case I have issues with DSA follower.

I have a couple of 10 rounders and a couple of their 30 rounders. One of the 10s has quite a bit of use with zero malfunctions (it was bought years ago, btw). The newish 10 has about a dozen cycles with no issues, but is a little tight in the mag well.
The 30s (limited use) seem to run fine loaded to 28, but had a failure to feed when loaded to 30 rounds (too much spring pressure). Not an issue for me since I bought them strictly for mono-pod use (match use).
The 10 rounders are used on the bench, otherwise I use and prefer original 20 round surplus mags - with the Steyr StG mags being the best, IMO and FN aluminum a close second. There is nothing wrong with Imbel mags either, except they generally look like hell.
I would only buy DSA mags if decent OEM mags were not available.
necropsy post…any updates on reliability of the DSA mags vs mil spec?
The 30rd’ers work great in my SCAR17…after some filing!
