Drop the R and put an H. OH AWB proposed!

I take it Obama knows the national level is not going to happen so he is leaning on the states and shotgunning his way to an AWB. Maybe this could kick a lot of leftest out to the curb.

Hows that? Ohio is a blue state.

Yeah, but by how much. Isn’t their Governor a Republican?

Aw crap, I sure hope not.

yeah, this will never make it to a vote…

Yes. John Kasich.

Just from a quick Google search I doubt he’ll be inclined to sign an AWB.

You sure about that?

We said the same thing here in CO…

You sure about that?

I am. There is a difference about which party controls your state.

The Republicans control the Governor’s office, the Ohio House and the Ohio Senate. The Senate by a hyper-majority of over two-thirds.

No need to waste any more electrons on this one.

Whoever proposed it must be a special kind of stupid. They might as well draft the bill on Charmin because Kasich would wipe his ass with it should it get to his desk.

Click on the senator profiles sponsoring this bill in the left sidebar, that pretty much clears the that kind of stupid up…

Why the heck are the Dems doing this? If it doesn’t have a chance to pass than why waste the time and effort?

And why are they coming out with the confiscation language when we are trying to point out the slippery slope effect as they have been trying to counter it?

Some major stupidity is running amok or are they really trying to work an agenda to divide the country more to the brink of civil war? the way ammo supplies are none existent, it sure seems people are prepping for one. :help:

the democrats will use the republicans no vote on a AWB as a campaign issue for the mid-terms.
obama and Co will drag out every dead kid they can find.

I think it’s to show their Lord and Savior they are doing all they can to push his agenda. Doesn’t matter if it’s a no go. If you’re not at the table, you’re on the menu.

The problem is it works both ways and history hows it works more against the Democrats than the Republicans.

Its moot as far as using stuff like this against Ohio Republicans because there won’t be a vote. It will not get reported out of committee.

Shit like this is some inner city libturd putting a hand out for campaign money from bloomturd and company. Deep blue fundraising.

While Ohio has its share of moonbat leftists in the democratic party, it also has a significant core of “blue dog” democrats who are very pro 2A.

Those of you who do not live here might be surprised to know that the biggest improvements in our formerly fucked up concealed carry laws came at the hand of a republican assembly and a democratic governor and AG. Both Ted Strickland and Marc Dann had zero problems with erasing the majority of the inane CCW restrictions that were agreed to by our douchebag former governor Bob spit Taft (R).

Between Strickland’s cooperation with the assembly on fixing most aspects of CCW and Kasich’s signing of the bill that allows carry in ALL places that serve alcohol, Ohio’s concealed carry laws are actually slightly less restrictive than Florida’s and Texas’; as hard as that may be to believe.

Fear not, the only reason Ohio shows up blue on the map is because of our federal electoral districts have been gerrymandered to give the libtard population centers too much clout. Our state assembly districts level the playing field much more.

As other fellow Buckeyes have observed, this bill will amount to less than a fart in a windstorm.

They’ll also receive mucho campaign funding from Bloomberg. In PA while republicans holds the governors office, senate and house, we also got screwed big time by the urban areas Pittsburgh and filthydelphia and ended up with a very antigun attorney general. Her 1st order of business was not accepting reciprocity for Florida’s nonresident ccw if you do not have a PA license. The citizens of filthydelphia have had to get a nonresident license to carry there.

So follow the money and expose it anyway you can come midterm elections. Wait and see.

Ohio actually has good gun laws and is a Red State (88 counties and only 16 of them voted for Obama in 2012 election).

This bill won’t go anywhere.

C4

Though I don’t think Kasich would ever sign this one, I know Strickland wouldn’t have.

Moot issues as the Republicans control both houses with a hyper-majority in the Ohio Senate.

This won’t go anywhere.

On the positive side, we have SB36 as well and I think that has a pretty good chance of passing/getting signed.
