DPMS springs good to go?

Just got a replacement spring for my receiver extension and it was marked on the order form as a DPMS spring. Normally I steer clear of DPMS crap, but with something as simple as a spring, I’m not so cautious.

Any advice or reviews are welcome.

Good to go in what sense? Is your gun sometinhg you use daily to keep you alive or a range toy or something in between?

If it is just a range toy (nothing wrong with that) I’d bet the DPMS is just fine. If your life is on the line then is your life worth what it costs to replace the spring?

Of course it will be fine…

Will it? A more honest statement would be that it will probably be fine. Quality springs aren’t as easy to manufacture as many believe. Things like metallurgy and temper become important, probably more so than in the other parts we view with skepticism like barrels and receiver extensions.
