I have DPMS 308 with a SS match barrel and several other upgrades. I am looking for a good muzzle break any suggestions? I have been leaning towards the Score High Muzzle Brake (.308).
I have a PTR91 (308 semi-auto) and wanted less felt recoil so I got a Primary Weapons Systems FSC30 brake for it. Their brake has done a great job to substantially cut the recoil for me. Good Luck.
+1! The PWS works great for me as well on my 7.62x51.
One potential issue; I have an SR25LM that I had modified by installing an OpsInc muzzle brake. I went from having ejector swipes on 168 SRA HPBT reloads to full blowouts of the primers. These reloads work fine in my M1A with no pressure signs. My SR25 appears to be over-gassed now from the additional back pressure caused by the brake. I will be installing an extra heavy buffer in the near future in the hope of correcting this issue. YMMV

A buddy has this on his 308. Very very nice. The PRC will lessen the felt recoil more than the FSC, however the FSC will also reduce flash. Cant go wrong with FSC or PRC. Depends on what ya want.
Thanks for the replies. I am looking for the brake with the low recoil so I can shoot all day with consistant quick folow up shots. I think I will go with the pws I will report on the results.
