You effectively killed any chance you had at gaining anything, with that sentence.
Helpful hint: remove all variations of the word “obvious” from your text-based communications. It’s semantically wrong and tends to unnecessarily polarize things; what’s obvious to one isn’t automatically so to another. Save that for image-based stuff, which doesn’t apply, here.
